LETTERS Martyn Blackmore: Sea is a living breathing beast, but also magnificent, deserves respect

Letters-to-the-Editor111-1-1

My name is Tom Reid,

My father Alan Reid (best known as Speedy) passed away on the 27th May. He has lived in Pevensey Bay at “White Horses” on the promenade over 35 years and been a big part of the community and involved in bay life from the beginning. Pevensey Bay was his life and he was one of the bays true characters. Once met never forgot!

His funeral has been booked for Friday the 15th June at Eastbourne crematorium at 3pm and his wake will be held at eb Rugby club for all who would like to celebrate his life.

If you could post this info on your site it would be much appreciated so everyone who wants to go will have the opportunity to attend.

Many thanks in advance

Tom Reid
